2008 Friends Meeting Schedule
Unless otherwise notified, the Friends meetings are held at the Lowell General Hospital, Donovan Conference Room, just behind the reception/information desk at the main entrance to the Hospital.
The meetings are on the fourth Thursday of the month and begin at 6:30 PM.
We meet monthly throughout the year with the exceptions of November and December.

2008 Friends Clean-Up schedule
This schedule represents the Friends of the Forest Maintenance Committee’s request for approval from the DCR to perform “Forest Maintenance” in the Lowell-Dracut-Tyngsboro State Forest during the year 2008. Friends of the Forest will organize and orchestrate general maintenance including clean-up of trash and debris, removal of trail obstructions, maintenance of trail tread/corridor and minor trail construction/improvements compliant with DCR standards.
The number of days, the exact dates and the nature of the work performed on any particular date may vary contingent upon weather, project approval from the Park supervisor ect. The Friends of the Forest will make all reasonable attempts to work with these dates provided. Previous notice will be provided to the park supervisor of the nature of any particular maintenance date and if the date needs to be re-scheduled for any reason. These maintenance days will begin at approximately 9:30 am and continue for approximately 4 hours. All debris collected will be deposited at the "dumpster area" off Trotting Pk Rd unless otherwise instructed by DCR personnel.
Unless otherwise notified either by e-mail list serve or on this website, all clean-up days will be on Saturdays, begin at 9:30 am and meet at the "Horsehoe/Dumpster area" approx halfway up Trotting Pk Rd, Lowell, Ma.
